Obituary of Augusta B. Dinan

Augusta Barbara Dinan, age 93, died on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Greenbrook Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Green Brook.Augusta was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Anton Bremec and Anna Krogel. She lived in Middle Village, NY for 86 years, before residing in Warren in 2007.Augusta was a very active Democratic Committee person. She was a member of the James A. Phillips Democratic Party, and the Board of Elections in Middle Village, Queens, NY. She enjoyed gardening and fishing; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.Augusta is predeceased by her husband, William M. Dinan in 1996, also 3 brothers and 3 sisters.She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bilak Schaeffer and her husband, James of Warren, and also her former husband George Bilak; two grandchildren, Annamarie Pilla and her husband Joseph of Warren; George Bilak III and his companion Stacey Carron of Middlesex; five great-grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Bilak, Adam William Pilla, Jessica Lee Bilak, Trevor Carron and Brandy Carron.Only visitation will be on Monday evening, June 15th from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung.
