I was deeply saddened to read of Candy's death in the newspaper. Candy cut my hair for many years when I lived in Berkley Heights. She gave my daughter her first "real" haircut at about age 3, and many more after that. During those years, she was engaged and married, had her beautiful daughters. I even recall encouraging each other during our husbands' periods of unemployment. She was a lovely woman. My deepest sympathy to Nick, Lindsey, and Lauren.
Blessings,
Pam Bowman

Candy, the first time I met you, you told me my bangs were like a mop and you immediately cut them off, you saved me, from hair trauma. It seemed like you saved me many many times in my life. At WHRHS when I was late, or just didn't feel like going to class you always helped me out and kept me out of trouble, even the times we spent together in 23A were always full of laughs and stories. You are an inspiration to all and will truly be missed. My thoughts, love, and prayers go out to your entire family. RIP

I hadn't been dating Jimmy for very long when I attended a wedding - where I met Candy and many of the other cousins for the first time. I was immediately struck by the closeness of all of these cousins. I distinctly remember meeting Candy - what a knock-out and warm and welcoming. She will be missed.

Candy cut my hair for many years, mostly at Just Us. From chatting with her over the years, I know how involved she was in Girl Scouts and volunteering at the hospital. How proud she was of her girls as they were growing up; and devoted to her family - speaking of gatherings with her siblings and mother. May God bless her, and Nick, Lindsey and Lauren.
