The first time I met Robin was actually at her wedding. The day she married her best friend, Dan. What a happy day and marriage their partnership was.

Dear Dan, the Bauers, Cindy and Fred,
When we think back, our fondest memory of Robin was at her wedding. She just glowed! She was so beautiful and Dan was so handsome. The oysters were piled high, the star gazer lilies wafted their scent over all, and the dessert carts kept coming. Then Micki made her request and "Rockin'Robin" came out on the dance floor. She was like a shining star! That day and the wonderful person Robin was will always remain in our hearts.
You are in our thoughts. Love from Jane and Rich Peterson
from the beach, Westbrook,CT

Word of Robin's death has just reached us at Immaculata., Robin's "training ground". She was an incredibly gifted young woman whose exhuberance and enthusiasm for life permeated our entire school, but most especially the Guidance office. We watched her blossom from a fresh faced college graduate to a highly competent guidance counselor. I was privileged to witness her marriage to Dan and put faces to the people who were most dear to her, Mom, Dad, (oh those pineaples at Christmas!)Joel and later Dan. Know that we at Immaculata will keep Robin's family in our prayers as you deal with your grief.
God bless all of you.

I first meet Robin in the spring of 2004. She was transferring from Edison High to J.P. Stevens, and she would be my sons' guidance counselor for their senior year. As a type A personality, I was very worried about college applications and having a new guidance counselor. I instantly adored Robin. She was always available whenever I called to ask a question or had a concern even though she was undergoing teatment. She helped my sons to gain entrance to the colleges of their choice. I will be forever grateful to her and I wanted you to know what a very special person she was to our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I first met Robin Bauer when she started working at Immaculata High School. She was a one-of-a-kind counselor and person and I was sorry to see her move on to another school. I will never forget her sense of humor and her love of dolphins. The world was a better place with her in it! She will be sorely missed.

Robin was an inspiration to all. She was a great swim coach to my daughter, Elana. I will miss her and our poolside chats about our "interesting school stories." Our sincerest sympathies go out to her husband, parents and brother and sister-in-law.
