A charming and honorable man, Ed was also extremely easy to talk to and generous.
Our interactions spanned many years, but never seemed overshadowed by the business aspect. He always set a remarkable tone.
I learned a lot from him, and it is clear that he was an excellent mentor.
He will be missed.

Ed Bario has been a friend for more than 20 years. Although he called himself the salesman for Hammamatsu, he was always a friend first, an then an advisor. He gave me a book that has been my favorite for a decade..."Tuxedo Park" a history of scientific developments. I will always remember Ed and how important his friendship has been to me.I wish his family the very best.

Ed was a Great man that will be missed deeply by everyone. He has touched so many in so many ways; his thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity, humor, and most of all just being a true friend. When I first met Ed 25 years ago I knew he was one of a kind, a true, original person. I’m so very thankful he was part of my life and thus, so much of an influence in my life. He was a huge mentored, taught me to find the good out of the bad, never stop learning, and of course………Enjoy “Happy Hour”!
I Love You Edward J. Baro ! You will hold a place in my heart always.
Cheers,
Karen
