Obituary of Linda Mobus

Linda Baker Mobus, 80, of Warren Township, NJ, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. She was born in Plainfield, NJ, on October 8, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Van Gordon and Ann Margaret McGinley Baker. She grew up and started her family in Plainfield and relocated to Warren. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles B. Mobus and two sons Joshua Paul Mobus, Charles B. Mobus, Jr. and two Grandsons, Edward Jansen Mobus and Andrew Joseph Mobus. Mrs. Mobus was very active in the Trinity United Church in Warren. She was a member of the Plainfield Junior Woman's Club, Past President of the Surf City Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary, and the 2nd Vice President of the Bridgewater, NJ, Woman's Club. She loved playing Bridge, reading, and flower arranging. Mrs. Mobus retired from AT&T and volunteered for many years at the Warren Library and Somerset County Library. Visitation will be Jan 26, 7-9PM and Service Jan 27, 11AM, both at Trinity United Church, 118 King George Rd, Warren, NJ. Internment will be private at Hillside Cemetery
