Marie Gunn (Mannello) posted a condolence
Sunday, February 7, 2010
Dick,
I was saddened when I read Doris' obituary in The Courier News. Please accept my condolences. I know you two were very close and I enjoyed seeing Doris and you occasionally in Warren, especially at the Church dinners. When we were freshmen at NPHS, Doris, Pauline Hanzel and I occasionally bowled at the Somerset Bowling Allies. I also read the touching article in The Courier by John Fernandez. I've always admired married couples who were devoted to each other as you were. May our Lord comfort and strenghten you and your loved ones in your time of deep sorrow.
In Sympathy, Marie Gunn (Mannello).

Having a beautiful role model as a Mom and Grandmother throughout my childhood and adult life.
Someone who shared her family with mine on Birthday's, Easter and special family gatherings with open arms, speaking to my children as though they were her own.
The love and compassion for saving and helping others was beyond what a human could express in words.
I will treasure the spoken love and concern we had for each other...my heartprints forever,
Until we meet again...Nancy
