I will always remember Betty as a dear, loving sister-in-law. Gracious and polite, always a thank you and a please, but yet stern when it came to her “rules”. As a gourmet cook, everyone had plenty to eat, especially her holiday spreads. In times of need, she was always there to help. She loved her pets, stray animals, and the birds would come to her call. She had a lovely voice and loved to sing. Devoted to her family, she gave us lovely memories. I will miss her and her sweet smile. I know she is now with her brother, Eugene, my dear husband who passed away just over a month ago. May they rest in peace.
Love, Charlotte

I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Alzheimer's is the worst way to go particularly when you have as many rich memories as she must have had. She will always be my Aunt Betty, too. She had so much style, I didn't know how to appreciate that when we were in our teens. My thoughts are with you!
