Obituary of Melissa Lewis

Melissa Bader Lewis, age 33, died on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. She was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Kensington, MD, and moved to Fanwood in 2008. Mrs. Lewis received her Bachelor's degree from Cook College at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and her Master's Degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She was a Health and Safety Manager for SBM Corporation in Rahway, NJ. Mrs. Lewis was a Life Member of the Edison First Aid and Rescue Squad #1. She enjoyed baking, yoga, crafts and reading. She is survived by her husband, Ian Lewis; her children, Wesley and Elana Lewis: her parents, Barry and Rochelle (Shelley) Bader; her parents-in-law, Allan and Rhonda Lewis. She is also survived by the Lewis-Sherman and Bader-Auster families. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by internment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
