I have great memories of Aunt Jo. She had a lovely smile and sense of humor! She and Uncle Jim were always so kind, thoughtful, and hospitable,(great picnics at their house on George St.). Her baking skills were extraordinary!
She taught me how to bake wonderful Italian cookies, knitted me a beautiful quilt for my bed/18th birthday, (which I later took with me to college), and watched me on occasion when my mother needed a sitter.
There were fun memories of trips to Yankee Stadium and the World's Fair with her, Uncle Jim, and my cousin, Vinny.
Aunt Jo, you will be sorely missed and my heartfelt sympathies extend to her family during this sad time.
