Obituary of Daniel Torben Liss

Daniel Torben Liss, age 22, died on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Bridgewater he was a lifelong resident. Daniel was a student at Rider University in Lawrenceville and had studied abroad in Barcelona Spain. He enjoyed fishing, skydiving and scuba diving in the Caribbean. A member of Pop Warner Football, an avid wrestler and a huge fan of all sports especially the NY Giants and the Yankee's. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his loving girl friend Alexandra Renwanz. Predeceased by his grandfather Larry Liss in 2007. Surviving are his parents Kenneth and Gina Danielsen Liss; sisters Jennifer McKay and her husband Jason and Jacklyn Liss; nephews Dominc and Landon McKay; paternal grandmothers Clara Manheim and Tatty Liss; maternal grandfather Torben Danielsen and his wife June and maternal grandmother Ines Ochoa; uncles and aunts Joe and Ellie Liss, Rick and Wendy Johansen Liss, Benjamin Liss and Brett Cohen, Jon and Hulka Liss, Vikki and Tim O'neill, Sharon Liss, Seth Manheim, Robert and Eileen Luongo, Sandi Ochoa, Gayle and Gerry Boyle, and Gary and Annette Kiniery; cousins Rianna, Craig, Andrea, Joshua, McKenzie, Jesse, Alexander, Lawrence, Robert, Gina, Jeffry, Gabi, Eryne, Madalyn and Brayden. A visitation will be on Saturday, August 14th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Sunday, August 15th, starting at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Daniel T. Liss Memorial Fund, Box 241, 16 Mount Bethel Rd., Warren, NJ 07059 would be deeply appreciated.
