Obituary of Scott Walter Andersen
Warren: Scott Walter Andersen, age 50, died suddenly on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Boston, he grew up in Hamburg, NY, and later settled in Warren.
Mr. Andersen graduated Hamburg High School in 1978, where he was President of the Student Council and Captain of the football and track teams. He was a 1982 graduate of Columbia University's School of Engineering, where he played football for the Columbia Lions.
Mr. Andersen was Managing Director of Trexin Consulting in New York City. He was a devoted husband and father, an inspirational coach for his children's athletic teams, President of the WYBA, a Lion's Club member and past president of the Round Top Swim Club.
Mr. Andersen is survived by his wife, Susan (Sara) Andersen; two daughters, Kelsey and Kaitlyn, son, Kyle, as well as his beloved Golden Retriever, Sandy.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:30 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 9:30 -10:30 am.
