Roger always made us all laugh in high school and after. Too many memories to write about but he will always be in my heart. An attorney with a sense of humor! Gone too fast such a brilliant mind and person on this earth. See you on the other side my friend.

Roger was passionate about what he did, and I appreciated greatly that he was always there when I needed help. You meet few with his intensity for making things work. Of course, beyond the intensity, I'll never forget the pictures of his beloved boat in his office. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeff

Mary,
I never met you but I feel like I did through Roger's ever present pictures and references to you on Facebook. I am so shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences to you and your family. He was the "Groucho Marx" of our high school / out time and I was privileged to be the butt of many of his jokes(many of which were over my head). The world has lost a brilliant mind, a caring soul and an irrepressable wit. My heart is sad.

I really liked Roger and will miss him. We had great times together, particularly in High School. I was looking forward to seeing him at the upcoming reunion. Roger did have a wonderful sense of humor, and I always considered him a straight up kind of guy. I send my condolences to the family, and pray for your comfort. God bless you all.

I will always remember that Roger was so nice to me when I was the new kid at WHRHS as a sophmore. He wasn't in any clique; he was just good to everybody. Traits like that don't change, so it's no surprise to hear of his success in life. My heart goes out to his family and friends. They are blessed to have been part of his life.

Dear Mary, Mark, Glenn and Laura,
As my fellow "clicker", I will miss Roger very much, though we never spoke much about our clicking. As my very good friend over the years since I met him, I will never get over his passing at such a young age and I will never forget him. When I first met Roger, at the request of our doctor, I had to convince him to "join" the "clicker" club. I realized right away that I had never or will never again meet anyone like him. He was very special. In 1989, he helped me buy my very first computer and laser printer. I spent $3,500!! That was the going price then. The 286 computer didn't even have the internet!! I could create a very nice resume though and a few nice spreadheets. That was about it.
Computing has come a long way since then to say the least. In 2003, he help me buy another PC, plus a digital camera and a video camera. I still have all of this equipment today and they run like a charm thanks to Roger's great advice on computing and digital photography. I really take care of my equipment thanks to his helpful advice.
Going out on the boat with Roger was a real treat too. I am so glad my girls, Kelly and Jessica got to met him.
Who can forget the "crab fest" party at his house. Hundreds of Maryland Blue Crabs! After the party I had the pleasure to go with Roger to dump the hundreds of of blue crab shells at a local 7-11 dumpster. We didn't want to upset the neighbors with the smell since garbage day had already just passed.
Then, I can never forget Roger's first cell phone which was the size of a shoe box! We went to a pizza place and he would call Mary, since no one else had cell phones. Roger was always on the cutting edge of technology. I remember him telling me about the Radio Shack TRS-80 and the Commodore 64 computer. I was always impressed about how much Roger knew about so many topics. He was a walking and talking Google search engine.
Another memory was when Roger and Mary came to my wedding to Jennifer in 1992. He spoke on my wedding video with his great sense of humor. I believe he said that he is so happy to be at my wedding, he said he has been to "all" of my weddings.:>) That is another "Rogerism".
We love you Roger and we will miss you very much.
Be sure you make the angels laugh. Hopefully they get your sense of humor.
Love, Dave, Jennifer, Kelly and Jessica

I am so deeply saddened by Roger's passing, but at the same time so happy I got to know Roger these past 3+ years. I worked more closely with Roger - all day, every day - and learned so much from that experience. Funny, but Roger used to claim that he learned so much from me. If he only knew how mutual that feeling was. I never met anyone who knew so much about so many things.
Roger was the most caring, gentle, kind, and considerate person I ever met. Dealing, myself, with some family issues over the years, a day didn't go by that he wouldn't ask about how things were going. Roger would often call me on weekends or at night, "just to say hello." My wife, who never met Roger in person, felt like she knew him from his calls. She too is sad and feels the loss.
I am glad that I was able to send to Roger my "Three Stooges" happy birthday just a couple of weeks ago. But that didn't come close to those amazing videos and pictures Roger would create and often "run by me" before publishing them.
To Mary and the family, my wife's and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Roger, thank you so much for...everything. Thank you for your advice. Thank you for your caring and kindness. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for your unwavering friendship. I will never get over your loss. I will never forget you.
