Obituary of Roger Cale Schechter

Roger Cale Schechter, 57 of Warren Township died Friday, December 17, 2010 at NY Weill Cornell Medical Center. Born in Plainfield, Mr. Schechter lived in Warren for most of his life. He was an attorney at Fox Rothschild in Roseland with an exceptional gift for computers and photography and his numerous published articles and lectures that earned him great respect in his field. He was also an avid electronic specialist, computer imaging genius, and enjoyed his summers with the family at the shore on their boat. He will be remembered by all for his wit and humor, practical jokes, and his strong devotion to his family and friends. Surviving him are his wife, Mary, and his children, Mark, Glenn, and Laura. A visitation will be held Sunday, December 19 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A graveside service will be held on Monday morning, December 20 at 11:00 am at Hebrew Cemetery, New Market Ave., South Plainfield.
