Obituary of Roy S. Schneider

Roy S. Schneider, age 59, died on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home in Gillette. Mr. Schneider was born in New York City and was raised in Yonkers, New York. Roy's greatest joy in life was spending time with all of his family. He especially loved coaching his children's sports teams. Mr. Schneider had a passion for photography and was a commercial photographer in New York City for many years. Along with photography Roy enjoyed music and playing sports, and was an avid fan of the New York Giants and Yankees. He was a best friend to everyone, with a wonderful sense of humor that will be missed by everyone. Surviving are his beloved wife of almost 32 years, Lyn Schneider; his children, Eric and Lisa Schneider, his mother, Martha Schneider and his brother, Paul Schneider, and an extended loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation will be private.
