Obituary of Trudy Mannheimer

Trudy Mannheimer, age 91, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 while on vacation in Barbados. She was born in Germany and had lived in England for two years before moving to New York where she met and married her husband. She moved to Berkeley Heights and then to Watchung where she lived for 50 years. Mrs. Mannheimer was a homemaker. She loved animals and supported the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. Mrs. Mannheimer is predeceased by her husband, Walter Mannheimer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by entombment at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a 3:00 wake service.
