To all the Loizeaux family :
My most sincere sympathy..
I knew both Jerry and Betty for many, many years - - Jerry and I started 1st grade in the little Watchung Boro School, then continuing on through high school at North Plainfield - - and Betty moved to Watchung, I think in our sophomore year. On her first day at NPHS, I was called to the office to meet her and show her around the building and campus, and we were friends from then on.
My husband, Lou, and I attended their wedding on September 6, 1947, and will never forget that kiss at the closing of the ceremony.
Only the time we spent away in the military, and definitely distance, kept us from staying close to Betty and Jerry. They were both good friends and will be missed.
