My deepest sympathy with the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. Cookie was my classmate in the class of 1961 at North Plainfield High School. I remember her fondly and am certain that God holds her in the palm of his hands. Time heals sorrow and the warmest memories remain of our loved ones. As a nurse she surely made a difference in the lives of many.
Sincerely,
Sonya Martin

Dear Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Through the years I have reflected on the good times Cookie and I had as friends. Life in our early years was simple and carefree and eventhough our lives took differnt paths as young adults, I have never forgotten the kind person she was and the wonderful friendship, fun and "talk" we shared as "young girls" growing up. We started with our Polly Pigtails Club and graduated to the Seventeens Club. She was in my wedding. Cookie was my very best friend. May God give comfort to you, her devoted family, in the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother and sister. May her memory be eternal.

My mother is a resident of the Stars & Stripes unit at the Veterans Home in Menlo Park. I usually visit from dinner time to bedtime, and so I was lucky enough to spend many evenings with your mother. She was the living symbol of everything we think of when we say the word, "nurse". She had a very caring, calm, and capable way of dealing with "her" residents, and she truly knew and cared about them. We talked a lot about her plans for retirement, and I know how much she was looking forward to spending more time with her family. Cookie was a special person who treated my mother (and all of her patients) very well. I am thankful to have had her as one of my mother's caregivers. You have my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry for the loss of you mom. May she rest in peace and that you know she is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I enjoyed meeting your mom when I visited your house Robin in Plainfield many years ago when we were teachers in Mexico, it was a beautiful house and she was a dear person. May God bless you all. I hope you all can be comforted knowing she raised beautiful children, and a very good friend to me, Robin. You are a good person because of your mom.
Peace and love,
Joseph Furner

My Dear Robin,
Please know that you have my deepest heart felt sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your Mother once and I liked her immediately. She was so easy to talk to and quick to laugh. It was also very clear how much she loved you and her grandchildren. She was so proud of you Robin. The many things that you have learned from your mom will come flooding back to you and you will be able to use them all in your own life and keep her memory in your heart. The loss of a MOTHER is such a difficult, life changing and sad experience. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. All my love, Laura
