Obituary of Gayle M. Tewes

Gayle M. Tewes, 55, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia. Born in Elizabeth, she was a lifelong Plainfield resident. Gayle was employed as a financial analyst for many years. A devoted mother and grandmother she enjoyed reading, music, baking, crocheting , painting, and was an avid seamstress. Her parents, Glenn D. and Catherine Howard Tewes both predeceased her. Surviving are her four children, Megan Flint of Green Brook and Kirsten, Haley and Devin Webb, all of Plainfield; two brothers, David Tewes of Cliffwood Beach and Daniel Tewes of Boulder, CO; three sisters, Elizabeth A. O'Leary and her husband Robert of Long Pond, PA, Julianne M. Porter of Dunellen and Mary Catherine Tewes of Dunellen; two grandchildren, Jordan Caroline and Lucas Richard Flint; a sister-in-law, Laura Tewes of Piscataway; a brother-in-law, Jay Porter of FL; her ex-husband, Nimrod Webb, Jr. of Plainfield and several nieces, nephews and a great niece.
