Annette, if you are reading this, please accept my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your sister, whom for a short time, I was honored to call "Aunt Carolyn". I just found out about her passing, and wanted to reach out to you with my thoughts. She was a beautiful, kind and loving person, who left me speecheless when she referred to me as "an angel sent from heaven"; truly, that was her. My thoughts are with you. In love, Laura.

I had a dream last night...you became healthy right before my eyes--your hands were beautiful. I remember them most.
I miss you so much--it's amazing how many times a day I think of you and wish I could call and tell you something pointless. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for always listening. Thank you for always believing and telling us we could do anything--the strength you taught us is helping us get by now.
Over the last week so many people have shared such fond memories of you...you were pretty darn special, mama. You should know that.
Love you always.

Jen and Courtney-- Your mother was truly an example of courage and an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her loving and kind nature. Even after she moved from Dervin Lane, we frequently met in the Shop Rite as we selected flowers together. During these chance meetings, you and your sister as well as my children were the topic of our loving conversations. God bless and keep you and yours. Alyce Hunter

Aunt Carolyn will be greatly missed. Despite living with a painful illness for a long time, she overcame it and always had a smile on her face. She had a wonderful sense of humour and I remember our breakfasts at Hoffmanns with fond memories. I will miss you very much. Lindsay

Wonderful memories of this beautiful and kind woman who I've known for 20 years. She always smiled when she saw me and was always so kind to my boys. "Mrs. Weinschenk" was my downstairs neighbor for the last couple of years and was always so cute when we ran into each other and she always had a smile on her face when I saw her. But I know her best as "Jen's mom". She did a wonderful job raising her 2 beautiful daughters and she would be proud of them for how they are "taking care" of her and of each other. You and your smile will be missed.

Carolyn was a Valiant Woman as is said in the Book of Proverbs of the Old Testament. She was Valiant in her long term illness. She was an example to me of how to live with dignity despite terrible physical hardships. I enjoyed her wit and sense of humor. She was a gracious lady who loved her family and friends sincerely interested in all.
