Dear Dad, You were my first love, my hero and protector, you took me for my 1st perm, taught me how to drive on your lap when I was 5, taught me how to eat a whole lobster, taught me to never do anything I'd be ashamed of,to not forget where my roots came from, how to forgive. My life will never be the same without you. Now, you're my first parent to die. I miss you every day. Even though I didn't see you often, there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think of you. You will be missed. I am so grateful my prayers were answered and you didn't suffer too long. Rest in peace Daddy. xoxo

I remember coming to your "mansion house" as I would call it, with the spiral staircase, visiting you and the family when I was a kid..playing with big ol' Max, and just enjoying being at Pop Pop's house. Miss you so much already..Love you!

What I can say about my father in law is that no matter how much time went by from one visit to the next... or one phone call to the next....whether it was a day or a week.... for my husband Joe, it would be as if he and his Dad had only spoken that morning....as if the conversation was just a continuation from the last. And when Joe would get off the phone, there would always be a look of contentment.... because he had just spoken with his hero again... and all was right with the world....... All I can say about my father in law, is that he was soooooo loved by all of his children.....and he was always welcoming to me. He will be sorely missed.....

Dear Mr. Cerillo, I may have only met you a handful of times but I can tell you that you were always sweet and kind and wonderful to me. I know your girls very well, I use to be called "the other sister" but the truth of it is, meeting and knowing Gia and Dina was a privliage that I will never take for granted. They are extrodinary women, and I'm guessing they learned a lot of that from you, their hearts are full, they are amazing mother's, and wonderful wife's, so you can take the credit for that too! I want you to know that now and forwever to them you were the perfect dad, the rock that kept them strong and that they loved and respected you so much! they depended on you because they knew that no matter what the situattion you were always on their side. You are an amazing man, and I was very lucky, even if it was only for a few minutes in a passing life that I met you, I sometimes wished that I was lucky enough to have a father as wonderful as you. You will stay in my heart forever and so I say this with all respect, stay warm and happy in heaven and someday, if the angel's allow I will get to say hello to you once again when we all meet in paradise. Rest in peace, mind! You belong to God now And we were very lucky that he allowed us share you for so long!!!! With all my
Love, Linda (the other daughter)!

I didn't know Joe Sr. very well, saw him as a friends dad growing up and saw him as a colleague in the car business but I know his son Joe Jr. very well! Anyone that can raise a son as great as Joe Jr. and send him out into the world to be a success is truly worthy of Heaven!! God bless!

"People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives,
Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you.
Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may be never be enough.
Give your best anyway.
For you see,in the end, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway"
--Mother Teresa
