Obituary of Joseph Marco Cerillo

Joseph Marco Cerillo, age 83, died on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his home in Warren. He was born and raised in Plainfield and was a long time Warren resident. Mr. Cerillo graduated from Plainfield High School and then served in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he was the Manager of Autoland in Springfield. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. Mr. Cerillo loved hunting and watching football, especially the New York Giants. He played semi pro football when he lived in Plainfield and was a boxer while serving in the Navy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Carol Genard Cerillo; his children, Patrick Joseph Cerillo, Joseph F. Cerillo, Debra Walck, Kelly Capurso, Jill Winnicki, Gia Mia Wenzel and Dina Portik; his brothers, Patrick Cerillo, Louis Cerillo and Anthony Cerillo and his sisters, Teresa Cerillo and Patricia Vertullo. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
