Your penalty will be cxaetly what it would have been if you were convicted in New Jersey, other than the fines which were paid to Minnesota. If New Jersey assess a higher fine than Minnesota you pay the difference; of course you don't get a refund if they are less. The points you receive will be the points New Jersey gives for that conviction and the term of your suspension if there is one is also what you would have received if convicted in New Jersey.If this was not your first conviction for DWI you will be subject to New Jersey penalties for repeat offenders. Although Minnesota did not file criminal charges I think you might be subject to the jail time New Jersey gives repeat offenders. You should consult with a lawyer about that.

We knew Sr Mary Lou from St Joseph School in North Plainfield she taught all 3 of our children. She was thoughtful and loving to all the children. We will miss her smile she was always cheerful.
