I was so saddened upon reading of Jay's passing. Although I didn't know him well, I knew him through you and because we each had past heart experiences. I can't begin to imagine the impact his loss is having on you and your family. I wish I had words that could ease your pain, but I hope that time and remembering will offer some comfort. We were all so glad Coach B got out to one of our games this year, and we were all lucky enough to have him as a coach our first season at Pingry. He always had something positive to say and we missed his presence at practice every day. We could always count on him to keep us and the rest of the coaches organized. Adele and Michael: I am so very saddened to have read about Steve just now in the Star Ledger and to have missed the Memorial Service today. I will always cherish the memory of Steve and what a "nice" guy he was. Such a good husband and father. My heart is burdened, and I pray you will find peace and acceptance in time. Love, Diane

On behalf of the Pingry Basketball team, we would like to send our heart-felt condonlences to the Ben'Ary family. Coach was always thoughtful and encouraging towards the team. He provided insight for all coaches, especially me. During practice sessions he always made players understand the purpose of what and why we did certain things. He will be dearly missed. To the entire family, I am so so sorry for your loss. I remember Mr.Ben'Ary from PHS where not only was he my tennis coach, but THE coolest teacher in the years I was there. My heart goes out to you... My deepest sympathies.
The faculty and staff of the Department of Communication Disorders and Deafness at Kean University join in extending our sincerest condolences. Heaven just added a mensch, a sweet man and perfect partner to a wonderful woman, who is in our thoughts and prayers today.

Mr. Ben'Ary was one of my high school English teachers. He was by far one of the best, and he will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family.
His couragous fight to over come his many illnesses are a lesson to all. He was soft spoken, patient and had a very dry wit. Very handsome lifeguard in Jamesburg many years ago!
