Obituary of Patrick F. Caruso

Green Brook: Patrick Francis Caruso, 45, of Green Brook, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Plainfield and raised in North Plainfield, he moved to Green Brook in 1988 after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. He went on to earn a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken. He began his career at Foster Wheeler in Hampton and has currently been employed for many years by Merck Pharmaceutical in Rahway as Senior Project Engineer. An avid classic car afficionado, Patrick was Web Master for both the Raritan River and Valley Forge Regional Cadillac LaSalle Clubs as well as a member of many local and National Classic Car and Professional Car Clubs . His father, Mario Caruso predeceased him in 2003. Surviving are his mother, Mary Sargenti Caruso; his brother, Carl A. Caruso and wife Toni of Flemington, NJ , and uncle to their children Gabrielle, Grace and Alexander Mario Caruso. Patrick's love was shared by six god-children, a loving family and many close friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 9:30 am from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Watchung and entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
