We were neighbors for many years of the Fred and Shirley Engelmann family. We watched Fred, Jr., Judy, Susan and Karen grow into beautiful adults. I am overcome with sadness to read about Judy. Never, ever, do we want to see our children go to heaven before us. I was equally upset to see that Shirley has also passed away. Somehow, going back and forth to help my parents during their last years put me far away from the Star-Ledger.
