Marcia:
I was very sorry to hear of Seymour's passing. He was a very kind and gentle man. We served on many committees together over the years trying to help Scotch Plains and the business community. Along with his many innovative ideas, Seymour always brought reasoning to the discussion.
I appreciated having both of you as customers at the Stage House and will miss the many conversations I had with him at the antique shop and in his office.
May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
John Ferrara

Please accept my condolences on the death of Seymour. He had a very big heart and one full of love and compassion. I am an advocate for a rare disease called FOP. I started an FOP Awareness Initiative in 2002 by reaching out to all 566 New Jersey Mayor's and asking them to adopt a Proclamation or Resolution on behalf of FOP Research and Awareness.
By 2005 it hadn't achieved it's full purpose. I gathered about 40 volunteers to make phone calls and I needed a bank of phones and a bank of fax lines to achieve the ultimate purpose of reaching out to about 300 New Jersey Mayor's in an effort of obtaining a Proclamation or Resolution from their municipality.
The person who came to our rescue and assisted our cause was Seymour. He donated the phone lines, the fax lines, the room and anything else we needed at the time. Our event was held at the CEO Suites in Scotch Plains on June 14th 2005 { flag day } and it was called a: PROC-LA-THON. It was a great success and it was all made possible by the generosity of Seymour. Even NJ Governor Richard Cody made mention of our Proc-la-Thon in a Governor Proclamation he issued for the day. Thank You Seymour and God Bless You.
