Obituary of Seymour H. Stein

Seymour H. Stein, age 83, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. Born in Newark, he resided in Springfield then Scotch Plains before moving to Warren nine years ago. Seymour proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He received his BS in Business from Upsala College in East Orange. Seymour was an interior designer for Design Center of NJ, which he owned and operated, as well as several other design firms throughout NJ. He was a real estate investor and the President of CEO Suites. In his spare time he loved antiquing, collecting art, skiing, biking and traveling. Predeceased by his brother Ralph Stein. Survived by his loving wife Marcia (Eisenberg) Stein; sons Edward Stein and his wife Victoria, Jonathan Stein and his wife Amy, and Mitchell Stein; his step-daughters Kim Griffin and her husband Joe, and Jill Glatman and Tom; cherished grandchildren Sydney, Dylan and Levi. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. Funeral services are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
