We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. We know Dave mainly from waving across the lagoon (we are in the corner house directly across from your TR home). Dave seemed to enjoy life to the fullest ... always entertaining people and taking his guests out on his beautiful boat. The lagoon won't be the same without him. Thoughts and prayers to you and the family.

Dear David and Gina: You may remember me, my wife Kathy, and our son Paul Stuart Mason from the Readington Jr. Baseball days. I remember your dad from those days as a father and as a coach. I remember fondly the friendliness and good spirit your dad displayed as we tried to coach and encourage players in baseball, and in life. I also remember your dad's strong and unwavering love for you. He was a man I am glad I got to know.
We have a conflict today, or we would have come to honor your father. We are sorry for your loss, but pray God's special comfort for you as you continue to reflect your father's love for you.

David,
I can't even begin to express the profound sadness that came over me when I heard the news of your Father. My first thoughts were how close of a bond and the admiration for your Father that you had dating back to your childhood. It was a mutual feeling, your Dad always spoke so highly and proudly of you. Although your time with this wonderful and funny man was cut short, I take comfort in knowing that he has more than prepared you to carry on his legacy. He has shown you how to be a good and honorable man and father.
Rest In Peace big Dave. You were a kind and generous man. It's been quite a few years since our boys skated together but I still crack up laughing to this day thinking of the stunts and pranks you've pulled off.
