Obituary of Elizabeth Walsh

Elizabeth "Betty" Walsh, age 82, passed away peacefully in Bridgewater on Sunday, March 19, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in the Bronx, she had lived in Bridgewater for over 50 years. Betty was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed music and dancing. Betty spent many happy times at her vacation homes in the Poconos and Stella, NC. Most of all Betty loved spending time with her family and friends. Survived by her children Laura Castro and her husband Pepy, Jeanne May and her husband JP, Christopher Walsh and his wife Sameerah and Maureen Kramer and her husband Shane; grandchildren Dillon, Mason, Ginger, Henry, Lindsay, Griffin and Phoebe; great-grandchild Leland; sisters Barbara Fitzpatrick and Rosemary Twomey. Betty is reunited in heaven with her husband, Hank, who passed away in 2012. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24th at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville.
