To the family of John Kelly
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. For words of encouragement please go to JW.org
Sincerely,
Roberta

I had the pleasure of working with John at Barnes & Noble for six and a half years. He was such a sweet, kind-hearted, and gentle man, and everybody at the store loved him. He had a great rapport with our customers -- who often asked for him by name -- and he always had his co-workers' backs. I always looked forward to my shifts working alongside him; the cash registers could be a very thankless place to work, but John made it so much more pleasant just by his presence. He will truly be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to work with him.

I didn't know John well, but felt like I did. I liked him from the moment I met him at B&N on 22W in Springfield, where at the time he was in charge of the periodicals/magazine section...one of my favorite areas of the store. He was soft-spoken and kind, and always said hello whenever he saw me, and of course always helpful. He paid attention to my interests, and let me know whenever a new publication arrived. I used to spend a lot of time at the store, but my visits dropped off, only stopping in occasionally. I last saw John, up front, working the register...it was so nice to see him...a familiar face at the store. He smiled and said hello....and that's how I will always remember him.

John was the very first friend I made when I started working at Barnes and Noble. His kindness and sweet nature made my hardest days at work so much more bearable. The world is a little darker without John in it, and he will be sorely missed by many.

I had the pleasure to know John for several years. He always had a smile & hello to share with all the customers, myself included. We shared a like for some of the same authors & stars of old. We also talked about life in general and the health issues we faced. I was so very sad to learn of his passing. Going into
B& N will never be the same. My deepest sympathy to his remaining family.

John’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20140101/
