Today I first learned of Danny Watkins death, by contacting (after many years) Pastor Fred Mackey, on whose tour of Israel Danny & Margaret so generously sent me. (I initially resisted multiple times when I learned they weren't going along).
While Danny & most other missionary kids (M.K's) at Wheaton Academy were from French Equatorial Africa, I was just in from Liberia, W.A. Last week I mentioned Danny when sending a song to a woman nearing death with terminal cancer: it was one of my favorites, SUPPERTIME.
We used to flock around the piano whenever Danny sang that song, which was often.
Margaret, & all of your family, I am heartsick for you in learning this news.
David, my condolences to you, too. We lost touch over the years.
