Friday, November 23, 2018I am so sorry to hear about your mom!! Just found out on thanksgiving morning. She was much more than a mother to an old and dear friend. As I became more engaged in town, I became more aware of how much your mom was respected and admired by everyone in Watchung. You should be so proud of the woman and mother she was; as I am sure you are!! Personally, she was like a second mother to me as I spent many an hour in your home. Sorry for your loss Jay and Lance!! If there's a heaven, she's at the head table!! My love and condolences to you both

Saturday, November 17, 2018Heartfelt condolences to my dear friends. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Kay was an incredible lady who I was fortunate enough to get to know through my close friendship with her son, Jay. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

Saturday, November 17, 2018To Kay's family: My deepest sympathy and prayers to you during your journey of grief. I was so surprised to find out that Kay was 87 years old. I knew Kay for many years through the widows group (WIT). Age wasn't a topic that we discussed. She didn't present herself as an 87 year old lady. She had such a sparkling personality! I sat with Kay many times during our monthly meetings. She was interested in my sharing stories with her. It wouldn't take much for us to get silly and have many laughs. She spoke so proudly of her family. She was happy that her granddaughter was coming East from Arizona. She amazed me that she maintained and stayed in her home. She was a gracious hostess and we enjoyed her Greek dishes. The fond memories of Kay will continue. God bless, Kay. Barbara Burger

Saturday, November 17, 2018Catherine’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/awake-no3-2018-nov-dec/
