I have very fond memories of Evelyn ever since she hired me straight out of Battin HS in 1974 to work at Thomas & Betts. Under her "motherly" guidance, us young ladies in the steno pool experienced some of the best times of our lives! We enjoyed a lot of laughs together and a few of us still see each other on occasion. Evelyn will always hold a special place in my heart. How fortunate her family was to have her all of these years.

Evelyn’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Thank you for always encouraging me to be strong, smart, and to do the right thing. You have influenced so many people and are loved very much. You will be missed and surely not forgotten!
