Obituary of Dorothy Brenn

Dorothy Brenn, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 17, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Morristown and lived in Whippany and Chatham before moving to Warren 60 years ago in 1959.

Mrs. Brenn had a deep love for her family and spent much of her life raising her six children, fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She had a love of reading and gardening and studied and became a master gardener after she raised her family.

Surviving are her husband and life long best friend, Kenneth Brenn; her children, Chris, Ken Jr., Elaine, Bill, Jim and Kathleen; her 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Family, friends and all whose lives Dorothy has touched are invited to a visitation at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung on Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Internment will be at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit.
