Edward’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Jeff and I are friends of Peter and Pauline’s. We are sending our sympathies to you for the loss of your precious son Ed. We had the fortunate opportunity to meet him at Alex’s wedding. Your pain won’t be easy to bear, but I hope that knowing that friends and family, and the grace of our Lord are with you in spirit will help ease the burden.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I knew Ed as a student at Warren Middle School. Ed always had a smile on his face and whenever he passed me in the hall would always say hello! He was such an amazing young man and it was an honor to know him. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We are deeply saddened by your tragic loss. Rachel and Jen went to school with Ed and they always loved that they kept in touch after graduating. He was always the first one to wish them a Happy Birthday or Happy New Year. He had such a special way about him and the girls just adored him. I remember one year at the High School when there was a Tricky Tray Fundraiser. He had been eying this one basket and I ended up winning it and was thrilled to then give it to him. You would have thought he won the lottery, he was so happy:). He was always so pleasant and kind. We are all heartbroken over your loss and extend you our deepest condolences.

Dear Family of Edward Chu,
I graduated from Seton Hall University in 2017 with your son, Edward. Although I never knew Edward personally, I always remember seeing him on campus with a large group of friends and always looking so happy. He would always be smiling and in a good mood, which would put others around him in a good mood as well.
Thank you for raising such a great son whom was an unbelievable addition to the Seton Hall Family, he will be a beloved member of the family forever, and will surely be missed.
Rest in Peace
Best Regards,
Sean Conway

I remember his sweet disposition, eager willinessness to learn and avid participation in class. Ed was like a big teddy bear - sweet and warm and a joy to have in class. I am so sorry for your loss.

Debra Zinicola and Marian Glenn remember Edward as our student on a summer travel-and-learn class in Campobello, Canada. Edward amazed us all with his enjoyment of swimming in the cold Canadian ocean. He was our polar bear. We offer you this affectionate memory as a small condolence in your heart-breaking loss.
