Obituary of Edward A. Chu

Edward Allen Chu, age 24, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019; after injuries sustained in a tragic skiing accident in Hunter NY. He was born in Jersey City; Edward had spent most of his life in Warren, NJ. Edward had a love for school as he went through the Warren School system and then graduating from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2013. He was very proud of his perfect attendance awards he received in 2006, 2009 and 2013. Edward was also an Adam Ujeski Award winner for Special Achievement from the Warren Middle School in 2009. He later went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from Seton Hall University in 2017. Edward most recently worked as a computer technician for Oneness E-services, LLC in Somerset NJ. Edward was an active member of the Rutgers Community Christian Church in Somerset NJ. He assisted in many of the Young Adult Fellowship programs, the Vacation Bible School Summer programs and the Special Needs programs. Edward loved sports and was a fan of the local sports teams; especially the Yankees, Giants and the Devils. He also had season tickets to his Seton Hall Pirates Basketball team. He is survived by his parents Daniel and Sue Chu; his brothers Matthew and Winston, and his maternal Grandmother. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 at the Rutgers Community Church in Somerset at 2pm, in the Logos Chapel Building, number 8.
