I will never forget the great times working beside Johnny O. Always had a way to make you smile, my favorite was the way he would puff his cheeks out like a blow fish. As a carpenter, he was never afraid to speak up if something was wrong or unsafe. My condolences to the family, he was great guy.

John’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of another union brother and John was a union brother but he was also more. He was a friend. I never had the opportunity to work side by side with John but was told he took a great amount of pride in all he did. I know that every time he visited the Barber Shop he asked about me.
May the Good Lord hold the family in the palm of his hand during this difficult time. I know he is welcoming another carpenter home. Rest in Peace. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die but have eternal life"

Dear Sandy and family, John will be sorely missed at Bernardsville Hardware, where Johns skills and expertise were well recognized by staff and customers. It was a pleasure to see John daily. His past stories and sense of humor entertained us all. He had a gift of patience, dedication and a heart of gold. He took many young employees under his wing and directed them. I am deeply saddened and heart stricken by the sudden loss of my friend Johnny. My father and I have known him since the 1980s. He remodeled our house kitchen back when I was little and was such a fun person to be around. He also loved weather and would stop by the weather station we had in Morristown and take snow measurements for us in Bernardsville. My father and I will miss him greatly. Sympathy for the family, Sandy and kids. RIP brother!

My family and myself are deeply grieved of the passing of your husband and father, John.
He was very special to me, and to us. He shall forever be in our thoughts and prayers. On passing on Presidents day, I am reminded of President Lincoln’s condolence to the family of a loved one that passed.
Lincoln wrote, “It is with deep grief that we learn of the death of your kind and brave husband and father; and especially that it is affecting your hearts, young and old, what is common when the end arrives in such a way. In this world of ours, sorrow comes to us all; and to the young, it comes with bittersweet agony, because it takes us unaware. The older have learned to ever expect it. I am anxious” Lincoln writes, “to afford some alleviation of your present distress. Perfect relief from your husband and father and friend’s passing is not possible, except with time. We cannot now realize that we will ever feel better. Is not this so? And yet” Lincoln continues, “it is a mistake. We are sure to be happy again…The memory of your husband, father and friend, John, instead of agony, will yet be a sad sweet feeling in our hearts, of a purer, and holier sort, than we have ever known before.”
We love John, and we send our deepest regrets, care, consideration and concern for the Sandy and John O'Donohue family. God be with and bless you all.
Steve Pellettiere Sr, and the Pellettiere Family.

Dear Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. My sincere condolences to you. May you think of the many beautiful memories that you shared with , and cherish those precious moments. May the God of all comfort caress your heart with his living promise to one day reunite you together again, in the future paradise mentioned at Revelation 21:4,5. Our Dear Heavenly Father Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) knows the many tears you cry, and He will sustain you, if you let him. I hope that you can find comfort during this difficult time. If you would like to learn more from the bible about why we die or why does our loving Heavenly Father allow so much suffering and injustice, please feel free to go to jw.org to find satisfying answers.
