I remember being Phoebe’s age and in awe of my Grandmother. She had hair down to her waist that she wore in a bun. Her chocolate chip cookies were the best. I could sit at the counter with her in the kitchen for hours. Or at the breakfast table eating soft boiled eggs from egg cups. She taught me to knit, to sew, fostered my love of the library and games. She made me feel special with her hand drawn cards, letters and packages. She was tough and you always knew how she felt about things. I had 43 years of memories and I wish that there was time for so much more. I love you Grandma. I hope that GG, your Dad and Uncle Bob are there with you. Grandpa, I am so sorry. You and Grandma were the ideal model of love, companionship and marriage.
