Mr. Petricone... I was fortunate to know this man for almost 13 years and am proud to call him my Father In Law. As a devoted Father, Grandfather and Husband he always brought a smile to my face, especially when he was hugging me and messing up my hair...must be an Italian thing. He really was one of the good guys in this world, and as sad as his passing is to me, I will always remember the times spent with him and how fortunate I am to have all the great people in his family in my life. He was known by many and loved by all, and will always be in my heart and my thoughts and will be missed greatly. Mr. Petricone...(Dad), with love and a lot of great memories, Mike Surmick.

Joe graciously accepted us into his family 12 years ago. He was a most kind and gentle, and loving person and we will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to his wife Kathy, his children, extended family and friends. As Joe walks through his next journey of life with God, we hope that we will be able to meet up again with him one day in heaven. We will miss you Joe. With love and most cherished memories, Michael and Shirley Surmick.

We don’t get too many really close friends in our lives, but I was a lucky one to have been a close friend of Joe. We met at New Jersey Bank in 1975, and have been like brothers since that time, along with “brothers” George and Sammy, we were inseparable, like the Yankees core four. We actually are all Yankee fans. George passed away six years ago, and now it’s Sammy and me. I loved Joe dearly, and will miss him terribly. We used to meet every week for lunch and solve the problems of the world. Now Joe is with George, and we are left to cherish both their memories. I love you my brother Joe

Joe, you will be truly missed. What a kind soul and gentleman. You always made anyone visiting your home feel welcome and right at home. What a gallant fighter through your many health issues. You certainly were a shining example as a father and husband, a man to be admired. With love, your "cousin", Martha Howe Pittman and family
