Dear Lorraine: I was very sorry to learn of Len's passing. He was my first Chief of Police as Prosecutor and we remained friends long after we both retired. I'm only sorry distance prevents me from being with you now but know that I regarded Len as one of the nicest, honest and most professional men I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Len was a dedicated Church and community member who always had time to lend a hand. A true hail-fellow-well-met who always had a smile and a warm handshake. And -- he was a strong personality, a solid character who could always be counted on to provide a sound judgement. We will miss him. God bless his Soul.
