I was so sorry to hear of George's passing. My memory of him was a handsome man who always had a smile on his face and a story to tell and he was quite the smart dresser. We all braved hurricane Irene together and despite downed trees and wires all over Scotch Plains, he got in his car and made it to church on Sunday.
Although he lived a good long life, it is never easy to say goodbye. Take peace in remembering that he had deep faith in God and the Church and that he will now be in heaven at a joyous time of the year.
