I'm so sorry to learn of Wendy's passing. I'm Karen Schlanger Goldstein's cousin Debbie Epstein. Wendy was so lovely and close to Karen and my Aunt Flora. My Mom Shirley Epstein passed away last week at the age of 96. David, Laurie and Alan came to graveside services. I was just looking at the obits and was shocked to see Wendy. I am just so very sorry Steven and Mandy.

I just found out today of Mrs Piller’s passing...I was devastated to say the least. She was so wonderful with my son when he was at Mt Horeb school and we had so many wonderful talks. She was an amazing person and will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to the family.

Dear Steve, Mandy, and family.
I am truly shocked and saddened beyond words to learn of Wendy’s passing. My heart goes out to you during this extremely sad time.
We were friends and colleagues who shared a closet-sized classroom at Central School for many years. I have always enjoyed Wendy’s company...her positive spirit and words of wisdom. She gave the best advice! Wendy was so intelligent and creative...an exceptional writer and teacher who loved the children in her care. Her passion for teaching and helping others grow in their knowledge is an inspiration for all of us. Wendy made a lasting impression on so many people and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

I just found out about Mrs. Piller and I am devastated at the news of her passing. What a wonderful person!! I have worked with Wendy on so many occassions at Mt. Horeb School as a parent for the Science Fair and Career Fair and she was always warm and sweet and my daughter babysat for her grandchildren. This is so sad. Our deepest condolences go out to her family.

My sincere condolences to your family. Wendy was always there to make me laugh as we used to talk about our days in the classroom. She had an electric and energetic personality and was always willing to help. Not only will the students miss her dearly, but also the staff at Mt. Horeb. She will always be remembered fondly.

Steve and Amanda, words cannot possibly express the shock and sadness when I heard the tragic news about Wendy....shock beyond comprehension, my heart is breaking for you.. I worked with and beside Wendy for 15 years, and always knew her caring and kindness, which she consistently extended far beyond most. I am so so very sorry for your hurt, your pain, your tears. I pray for your family, for your healing, for your family, for my friend....
