Norma was the most respected Administrator for which I have had the pleasure of working. I am forever grateful and honored to have been a member of the Special Services Department during her years in Randolph.

Grandma Norma, as my sons Donny and Patrick refer to her as, will be desperately missed. She was smart, beautiful, funny, loving, kind, caring woman. Our fondest memories will be at the shore at her table waiting for her delicious dinners. Bbqs filled with laughter. The wonder of fireworks all together on the bay. Crabbing - showing my sons how to tell which kind of crab they were and even how to cook them. She made sure the fridge in the garage was always full of drinks to share. Grandma Norma will live on in the stories we tell and the time we spend together when her name is mentioned we will all smile. God Bless all of you during these difficult days and the ones to come. May you feel the Lord's arm around your shoulders holding you up. Peace and all our love. Jeanmarie, Don, Donny, Patrick and all the dogs. xxxx oooo

Michelle, Drew, Angela and Andrew, We are heartbroken for loss. Dear Norma may have been the Woman to start the “Me Too” movement! She was ahead of her time as a Female Administrator in the early eighties. Norma was an extraordinary Educator and Leader. She commanded excellence, advocated for her staff and students and was a Mentor and Friend for me personally. She inspired each of us “to do better, be our best”. Her leadership guided me to further my education and become the first School Counselor in all four of our elementary schools in Randolph Public Schools. As a Friend, she listened, gave sound advice and Mothered me as well as all of her Staff.
She spoke highly of her children-Andrew and Michelle. She was so very proud of each of you. Then came the wedding and Grandson, Andrew-she was ecstatic. Michelle, you were your Mother’s Daughter in laughter, joy and independence. I will always remember her joyous laugh, the clicking of her high heels, impeccable dress and always current with her style. She loved celebrating life and adored all of her family.
Norma left a legacy with her family and educational world. May her memory be eternal.
Norma was a blessing in our lives!
Much love and prayers, Debbie and Marty Burne xo

Dear Norma, we are so sorry that, because of the current situation with the Coronavirus, we cannot attend your funeral. I will always remember the wonderful times we shared both at work and at your home at the shore. We worked so well together, you as Director of Special Services, I as Assistant Director. You taught me so much about problem solving and I always marveled at your expertise, knowledge, and skill in running a department of 75+ employees. Thank you for our friendship and the collaboration we shared in the Randolph Schools.
Norma,
Blessed to call you my mentor and most of all, friend... you were an incredible role model to all of us as young women, as an educator, wife, and mother. You brought so much joy, laughter, and wisdom to all as we navigated the craziness of work and family life,
My gratitude for always being there to listen, understand and guide with your wisdom and love.
May your memory be a blessing!
Michele and Paul Yampolsky

Your mom was an inspiration to me as an administrator and as a woman. I admired and respected her. I will never forget how she taught us to treasure “our” kids by her example. She was a bright light and I am sure she will continue to shine upon you. Rest peacefully, dear Norma!

Dear Michelle and Drew:
The love and radiance of your mother shone through every frame of the beautiful video tribute you put together. She was stunning, intelligent, accomplished, loving and funny.
She is looking down on you with pride and gratitude for all the love, dedication and joy you have given her throughout the years -- and for letting everyone see how fantastic she looked in a bathing suit. :-)
Rich and I extend our heartfelt prayers and sympathies to both of you, as well as dear Angela, little Drew, and your entire extended family.
Love, Jill (Jacoby) Brugger and Rich Brugger

I will never forget the day Dr. Miele hired me. She called me and offered me a teaching job. Norma called me Drucilla and I said that everyone called me Dru. Her response still makes me smile, “Well then, I will always call you Drucilla because then you will always know it is me.” I always did. Norma taught me so much about taking chances and lifelong learning. I will never forget her laugh, her lipstick and her purple nails. I loved her dearly and each time I moved up in my career, Norma told me how proud she was of my work. It was always about what was best for the children and her disciples never forgot it. Peace beautiful lady. Drucilla Clark

I had the pleasure of working under Norma’s supervision for 8 years and the privilege of being her Assistant Director for 2 of those years. Her sense of humor and quick wit made me laugh quite a bit and her seriousness in what she expected on behalf of students with disabilities occasionally made me shudder. I learned a great deal about being a school administrator from Norma and have thought about her often with fine memories throughout the years. I will always continue to think about and admire her.
My sincere condolences to her family.
