Obituary of Clifford Harwick
Clifford A. Harwick, 63, of Lebanon NJ, passed away on April 30, 2020 after his short battle with cancer at Morristown Memorial Medical Center.
He was born on October 4th, 1956 in Wichita Kansas to Jack and Bernice Harwick. The Harwick family moved to Puerto Rico for 7 years before moving to Warren, NJ in 1965. Cliff graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 1974 where he played on the varsity football team. He went on to join the varsity diving team at Villanova University and earned his undergrad and masters in Biology.
Cliff pursued his talent in the finance industry and started his career at Merrill Lynch as an investment advisor. He later joined Paine Webber as an asset manager before starting his own company, Harwick Financial Management in Flemington NJ. He owned and operated this company as investment manager for over 30 years.
Cliff enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball team and helping his daughter master her gymnastic skills while they were growing up. He enjoyed traveling, skiing, going to the beach and fishing on the boat. He is able to rest peacefully knowing his main goal in life, to see his children graduate college and start their careers, has been achieved.
Cliff is survived by his son Brad Harwick and daughter Denice Harwick, his two brothers George and Wade Harwick and his 10 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Jack, mother Bernice and sister, Renee.
