To our dear friend Cathy, In August 2018, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Max and I met you and Kai for dinner at your favorite Taiwanese restaurant in New Jersey. That day you looked so beautiful and vibrant. Your face was glowing with happy smiles. We enjoyed the delicious Taiwanese dim sum and caught up with each other's life stories like we always did whenever we had a chance to get together. I can't believe that would be the last time I saw you! We had known you and Kai for more than 20 years. Although we didn't meet often due to our busy lives and distance, in our heart, you both are our dear friends! I still remember the first time we met 26 years ago. We invited you and Kai for dinner at our New York Hospital resident apartment. You brought your favorite dish Mapo Tofu that you took time to prepare. It was so delicious! You gave me the impression of being a loving, kind, smart and charming person. I congratulated Kai on having found a lovely wife! I am so sad that you are no longer with us! You will be missed dearly by us and all who had the chance to know you! R.I.P. Julia Gedeon

Missing lovely Cathy. From the youth of high school, the beautiful University-life and the same workplace to the present age, we could create another half-hundred retirement lives together though we weren’t accompanied again on the way. Much memories of the related things: (1)we had worked together in KPMG firm and shared workplace memories. (2) I was the bridesmaid of your grand wedding. (3) Your lovely Michelle and my elderly Jordan those are only one month away from birth each other. (4) You always accompany me when I went to the United States. (5) We always met & eat briefly from the first year when came back TW from the first year. (6) It was also a good memory of our two families. We fell in love with taking cruise. It's a great & warm guide by you and Kaiyang. (7) Seeing your photos for several years is really young, beautiful and lovely forever. Lovely Cathy, you just came to another space earlier than we to live another space. Living-life, sickness and death are all proceeding experiences. To my dear cousin Cathy, You have endured much pain on earth and braved the journey with grace. You are in a better place now, where there is no more hardship and you can be free at last. I thank God for sharing your life with me when you were healthy and when you were sick. I will always remember your beautiful smile and fighting spirit. To my dear friend Cathy, You were a sweet and beauty. It is your invitation that 4 of us to visit your husband Kai 27-28 years ago. I believe it was the trip to make you & Kai to make the decision to make your family. After your marriage you back toTaiwan once a year. We were enjoyed to see you every summer. And you were a sweet daughter to make your presents not to worry everything. While noted your sickness, you told me that you were happy and life with joy so you had no regrets and you were worth the life. Same as your lovely Kai and Michelle we will always remember your sweet and the smile on your face. Love you my dear friend Cathy! Jill
