Obituary of Florence E. Kozloski

Florence E. Kozloski, age 97, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Basking Ridge, NJ. Born in Newark, Florence grew up in Wallington, NJ raised her family in Union, NJ and retired in Point Pleasant Beach for over 30 years. Although Florence’s main job was as a homemaker, she had worked as a secretary for various companies throughout New Jersey. She was a former parishioner of St. Peter’s RC Church in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, where she was also a member of the Rosary Society. Florence loved music and dancing, but most of all she loved to travel. Her husband Peter, who was an employee of Pan Am, took her all over the world. Their favorite destinations were in Europe and Asia. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Peter, in 2001 and her grandson, Joseph, in 2012. She is survived by her children, Raymond and his wife Denise, Robert and his wife Nancy, Paula and her husband Mark; five grandchildren, Dana, Jennifer and her husband Kevin, Kristin and her husband John, Nicole and her husband Danny, Alison and her husband Tareq. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Hudsyn, Chace, Jack, Cameron, Anna, and Kendall. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, a private entombment will take place on Tuesday, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date.
