Obituary of Jeffrey Foster

Our beloved father, brother, son and grandfather, Jeffrey Foster, aged 63, passed away on Wednesda,y January  20th, 2021, at his home in Plainfield. Jeffrey was born in Phenix, VA to Russell and Lona F. Foster. He was raised in Saxe, VA, and spent the last 40 years in Plainfield, NJ. 

Jeffrey served the community of Plainfield by working for the Plainfield Board of Education for over 35 years. Starting as a custodian in PHS to become Head Custodian at Cedarbrook School and Mason School. Along with representing his fellow co-workers as a Union Representative for the PEA, he believed everyone should get what they worked hard to receive.

Jeffrey loved his cars, but you could find him on nice days cruising the streets of the town on his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed hunting, detailing cars. and target shooting when he went back home to Virginia. 

He is predeceased by his mother, Lona Redd Foster, and his oldest brother, Russell Jerome Foster. 

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer N. Foster, son, Jeffrey S. Foster, two grandson's, Rashon & Joshua; his father, Russell Foster; two brothers, Jonathan and Jerry, and sister, Lisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and a host of loving friends. 

Jeffrey will truly be missed by all that knew him. May you rest in eternal peace.
