I'm so saddened to hear about Mike's passing. I was good friends with him back in our high school years. He was the friendliest person I knew and always wanted to make sure the people around him were entertained. His happy optimistic personality was inspiring. Aunt Joni, Uncle Sam, Samantha and Greg,
Words can’t even express the sadness I feel. I am heartbroken and extremely sad for Michael’s passing, he will be greatly missed by everyone. I will never forget the magic tricks he would show me when I was little, he was always so sweet and just so calm and easy to talk to. I will forever keep his memory alive every time I watch baseball with my family. Sending all my love to you everyone in the family. Michael May you Rest In Peace , thank you for being an awesome older cousin.

Joni, Sam, Fran and everyone else affected by this tragedy,
Though I did not know Mike well our interactions were always interesting and thought provoking. Whether it was work or the myriad of subjects our coversations touched upon his passion always came through. Reading about him has strengthened that impression while adding an understanding of what kind of a person he was.
I’ve been contemplating the irony of someone so full of life being taken before his time and the inherent unfairness that is part of the human experience. Sharing the sense of loss inevitable in a lifetime association was not adequate preparation for the eveloping sadness that Mike’s passing brought on.
My hope is that the grief permeating the sphere which Mike inhabited eventually gives way to reveling in who he was. Our job now is to persevere.
Heartfelt condolences to all whose lives Mike was a part of.

Oh Joni, my heart truly aches for you and Sam, as well as for Greg and Samantha. No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child, and I know that Mike's absence will leave a void that can never be filled. On this side of eternity, our family will never be complete without him here. I pray that you will find some comfort in knowing that he will live on in our hearts and our memories, until we all meet again.
Mike, you were an amazing cousin. You always wanted to make everyone smile, and you most certainly did that every time we were together. I will always think of you when I am watching baseball and football. There will never be a magic trick that doesn't make me smile, and make me think that you are with Grandma and Grandpa, watching over us all. Your ambition, and your passion for all that is good in this world will always inspire me as I continue my journey in life. I wish we had more time. I wish I came to Boca sooner and got to see you one more time. I will always regret that. I hope you know that I got there as soon as I could. Rest in Peace, cousin, and know that you are very loved and will be greatly missed.

I am blessed by God to have known Michael. I consider him a very good friend and I will miss our personal conversations. No one worked harder and more conscientiously than Michael, but he always found time to ask about my family's health and well being. He had beautiful qualities that we can all admire and work towards improving in ourselves.
God Bless Michael and may he now rest forever in the peace and love of our Lord.

.You’re one of the best memories in our life. The first is when my baby sister got married. The second is when she gave birth to a wonderful son. Our entire family enjoyed over 3 decades of quality moments with you. You were always a big star in everyone’s life. Our life has a big void in it now. Words cannot express how much you will be missed. We know that you are in a much better place now…

Mike was one of the truly kind souls out there. I never doubted for a second that he would drop ANYTHING for a friend or family member in need. He always made the extra effort to maintain a friendship with us no matter how busy he was (even through a global pandemic). I loved watching him do magic, hearing his eccentric theories, and the fact that he saw the beauty in antique furniture that others discarded as trash. You could tell that he saw the good in humans in that way too. Always putting himself out there and always looking to connect. He was insanely devoted to his job, but absolutely loved it. You could tell that he was practicing his true calling. I’ll think of him every time I walk past that picture in our house that he gave to us, or when I look at the antique lamp that he always had his eye on (we were planning to give it to him next week, lamp pun and all). Paul & I are truly, deeply saddened by his passing. He was a rare find.
