Daddy Guye was such a quiet, soft-spoken, gentle, kind man, but also a deep thinker. He always greeted me and my Mom "Hello pal", every time we met. Our conversations although varied, somehow always ended up on a spiritual note.
He was a very spiritual person and truly lived his faith.
Now that he's gone, it's up to us who are alive to also live faithful lives, so that one day we can all be reunited in the New earth that God will prepare for all who love and obey Him.
So Karla, Karen, Kathy, Ken, Fitzroy, and the rest of the family, kindly accept our condolences during this difficult period. Our prayers are with the family.
From Joy and Family. God Bless

Often times our lives are touched by a person's kind words, smiles of encouragement or just a hello. Daddy Guye was one such person. We and I know our parents treasured those times spent in his company, sharing jokes or discussing a number of issues or news. May looking back in memory provide you with comfort in the days and years ahead. I wished I could be there in person to pay final respects but I am there in spirit. Our Love and prayers. God bless.

My TRIBUTE TO UNCLE ( Moe)
Uncle you were affectionate, spiritual and most of all a gentleman. You were always there for your family and created a bond that will last forever. I was always welcomed at your home and the precious times we spent were so relaxing and enjoyable. You brought joy to the room whenever you visited your sister and shared memories and jokes on Sundays or holidays. Visiting the elderly relatives was a must before returning home. You were a gem and I will remember you forever especially as you were the last of your generation in the family. The last time I remember you was the evening before you left us. You were combing your hair and looked so glowing while you shared some jokes with us. You are gone but sweet loving memories of you I will forever cherish. Rest in peace Uncle.

When I think of Mr. Guye, I picture him either sitting and reading his Bible, taking a walk, or cracking a joke. He always had a smile on his face and made me feel like family. People like him remind us that there is still good in the world. Even though he is no longer physically with us, the impact he made on those who were blessed enough to cross his path will always remain. Karen, Jasmine, Kathy, Karla, Kelvin, Kenneth and the rest of the Guye family, I pray that you take comfort in the fact that your dad will always be with you in your memories of him, and most of all, in your hearts. God Bless You All.

It is not always easy to accept the death of someone we love, if the death is sudden we're usually shocked or stunned ,Even when the death is expected it is often hard to believe at first that our loved one is permanently gone. Death is so final. The death of someone we know speaks volume, also to us if our own coming death. We maybe young or old bt we know that death is no respecter of age. Death is a fact of life that we must humbly learn to accept. Daddy Guye was how I knew you. U were a kind loving spiritual man. Short in height bt tall in stature. Ur faith never fall short, u were strong in Isiah 40:31 says those who trust in the lord will find their strength renewed, they'll rise up on wings like eagles... U I know was one. Rest in Peace daddy Guye.

Uncle Kenny -Vantie Pharaoh.
I worked with uncle Kenny in 1980 after hurricane David. He taught me how to do carpentry, read the tape line etc. He worked mostly in the St. Aroma area. He was a professional cabinetry maker. He taught me the best he could. He used to walk from Newtown to Eggleston to assist my mother in the building of her house. He did it gracefully without any complain. When he migrated to St. Croix in 1984, I had the opportunity to live with him and his family for a short period of time. Uncle Kenny gave me that opportunity to visit St. Croix on several accassions. I have never seen uncle Kenny get angry. He was always a cool man. He was a family man and loved his deceased wife and children unconditionally. I mostly appreciate that he had the opportunity to see and speak to my last child. He placed her on his lap and spoke into her life. I say to uncle Kenny that his memories will live on in my life. Thanks uncle Kenny.
