The whole neighborhood where Carl and Joan resided for decades with their two children, Greg and Marlene, mourns the death of Carl. What a great neighbor he was! We are just learning of so many deeds he did for neighbors beyond those which we knew about. Carl was a very kind, friendly, and unassuming man who had many talents. And he shared those gifts with many people.
In the late '60's and '70's the entire neighborhood just about exploded with little children, who were all good friends. There was quite a gang at the bus stop in the '70's and '80's! The Piegaris were always there at the beginning of the street by the bus stop. Of course, the neighborhood has changed quite a bit since then, but there are just a few who remain. All the Millers and the neighbors are sad that a really good man is no longer with us, and we pray for peace for his family.
